They are Vamana (Emesis), Virechana (Purgation), Niroohavasti (Decoction enema), Nasya (Instillation of medicine through nostrils), and Anuvasanavasti (Oil enema).This is a process used to clean the body of toxic materials left by disease and poor nutrition. Normally the body has the innate ability to efficiently process and remove these waste materials, including the vitiated doshas.

Spiritual Therapy

Spirituality therapy is oldest form of mental treatment goes back to thousands of years, practicing in India. It directly focuses on all problems and solution relating to the individual as a whole and it is applicable to an individual on the day to day basis. Spiritual therapy mainly addresses on lifestyle modification through certain practices such as Yoga, Pranayama, Sudarshana Kriya, Meditation, Pooja, Bhajans, satsang, certain Rituals and Self Knowledge. However, the primary aim is to change the behavior of an individual, understanding the spiritual beliefs, meaning and purpose of life, and development of an ethical code. The aim is exploring and modifying the deepest and hidden part of one self.

Family Counseling

In family counseling, the unit of treatment is the family system. However, in family Counseling, the focus is on uncovering ways that each family member can help recover the family as an entire unit. Family Counseling focuses on problem-solving, healthy communication, rebuilding trust and eliminating unhealthy behaviors. Family Counseling, in substance abuse treatment has two main purposes. First, it seeks to use the family’s strengths and resources to help find or develop ways to live without unhealthy substances or behaviors. Second, it mends the impact of chemical dependency for both the individual and family.

Individual Counselling

Individual counselling is a based on one-to-one conversations with trained mental health professionals such as psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, psychiatric social worker, yoga therapist or nurses. It is very useful in building a strong recovery to facilitate deep intra-personal and inter-personal work. In Individual Therapy sessions, your Therapist will assess your motivations and work with you to set treatment goals. You and your Therapist will examine your damaging beliefs, self-concepts and behaviours.

Group Counseling

Group Counseling involves a peer setting in which many members help one another. Hence the Group Counseling is an important effective treatment procedure in substance abuse and mental health treatment. It offers an education about the recovery process; provide good support and motivate to maintain recovery goals. It builds a sense of optimism, self-worth, and belief among group members; it develops relationships among group members that can be used outside sessions for support and encouragement.

Support Group

A support group is a meeting of members who provide help and companionship to one another. Support groups are comprised of others who have been through the issue at hand. Members of a support group usually share their personal experiences and offer one another emotional comfort and moral support. They may also offer practical advice and tips to help you cope with your situation.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

It can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It is most commonly used to treat anxiety, depression & other psychological disorders, also proved to be effective in the management of substance abuse disorder & other health issues.

Behavioural Therapy  

Behavioural therapy is an umbrella term for types of therapy that treat mental health disorders. This form of therapy seeks to identify and help change potentially self-destructive or unhealthy behaviours. It functions on the idea that all behaviors are learned and that unhealthy behaviors can be changed.


Psychotherapy is the use of psychological methods, particularly when based on regular personal interaction, to help a person change behavior and overcome problems in desired ways. Psychotherapy aims to improve an individual’s well-being and mental health, to resolve or mitigate troublesome behaviors, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts, or emotions, and to improve relationships and social skills.

Group Psychotherapy  

Group psychotherapy is a special form of therapy in which a small number of people meet together under the guidance of a professionally trained therapist to help themselves and one another.Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy that involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time.

Recreation Therapy 

Recreationis an activity of leisure being discretionary time. The “need to do something for recreation” is an essential element of human biology and  Recreational activities are often done for enjoyment, relaxation, improving awareness, increases alertness, provides amusement or pleasure and are considered to be “fun”. Recreation is an essential part of human life and finds many different forms. A significant section of recreational activities are designated hobbies which are activities done for pleasure on a regular basis. A list of typical activities could be almost endless including most human activities, a few examples being reading, playing or listening to music, gardening, sports, crafts, art and travel.
